THAT SAID the central relationship between the girls is weirdly compelling especially in the back half. There's a very Lucy Dacus's Cartwheel undercurrent there in spite of the, well, everything about it. Thoroughly surreal experience, worth the watch if you know what you’re getting yourself into.
